I went with a change of clothes on my bag that took me a bit of time to pick up the courage to put on, but once I did, I felt very welcome and accepted (unfort no pics).

1.- You do not need to know a pint of Gender Theory to experience Gender Dysphoria. It is a feeling. Many trans people knew they were trans at a very young age.
2.- Nobody is giving 8 year olds any hormones. Hormones are only given until puberty starts, which is usually 10-12.
