It’s exactly 15 yrs today that my best friend Matt Stokes died. He was blisteringly funny, unbelievably kind, extremely brave & 32. His cancer was brutal, incessant & to watch him slowly crumble away was one of the worst things I’ve ever witnessed. Gallows humour got him through.
