Why do folk seemingly spend so much time worrying what other people are earning & whether they are considered rich? Surely, you consider what YOU earn against your own/family needs. Be happy if it is enough & take responsibility to improve your own situation if not.

Be genuinely interested to see if they start with MPs. I'd be happy for MPs' base salary to increase significantly, as long as they accept up-to-date private sector compliance rules on freebies, and swap out their DB for DC pensions. Would give them a better feel for reality

The key to #RE. (REA Holdings) is twofold. Is sand / stone a black hole or not? It’s becoming clear it’s not. It’s gone from self funding to free cash and now ramping. It’s a massive resource and its repeat cash flows. Annuity esc as roads always need repair and maintenance.

I believe Martin does good with some aspects of financial education (especially around debt), but this is one of worst ideas I've heard. We have an overly complex ISA system & it needs simplifying, not complicating (along with SIPPs, tax, etc.). Rip up rule book & start again.
The suggestion I've made to the govt instead of cutting cash ISA limit... launch a "starter investment ISA." The thought behind cutting the cash ISA allowance is to encourage, especially younger people, to invest instead via stocks & shares ISAs (which in the long run is likely

#RE. Many if not all will not be interested but those on it have made 4* their money in MPE (capital and dividend) by looking under the hood. This to my fallible eye feels and looks awfully like MPE at 400p. It has more debt but also has a much stronger family holding. I
