Rafa appeared to be delighted to sign this Roger Federer hat 😍. Looked like there was another signature on it. Wonder if Federer had already signed the RF hat 🧢?
Rafa and the ATP boys signing the coffee tennis court at the ATP Finals. Note at the end, Rafa bends back down to sniff out the court. Never change Mr. Nadal. 👃☕️😂
Even if he’s not getting that rematch vs Shelton in the end (that match ended mid-press conference), I enjoyed getting to talk to Novak Djokovic about how he reacted to his player critics early in his career.
Djokovic was quick to name Federer as the clearest of them.

Rafa looks super lean again, as he looked in Australia. Wonder if it’s just dehydration or if he intentionally drops some kilos to play on hard courts?
After Jelena Ostapenko’s second round match on Court 17, she went around the whole stadium and took pics with fans. They turned the lights off (so rude!) on court and she kept going. 💚
Here’s the beginning of Roger’s response.
Cheekily: “who is Rafael Nadal?”
Bless this team

child and the parents who clearly rehearsed the question in advance.
Fed answered for 2+ mins and ultimately said they are in touch from time to time.
Everyone thought that child getting close to Nadal was cute and funny but it really showed the security team isn’t doing a great job at RG. How did the protester have time to 1) get on to the court and 2) have time to affix herself to the net
Rafa, who doesn’t like change, has dealt with nothing but change for the past year. Hope he has the emotional tools and support to handle things. Roig’s departure seems like a huge change as he’s been a constant, since Rafa was a boy.

- Curious as to how this is being received by players.
- A pity that the WTA seems to be throwing the tournament under the bus.
- Lastly, this letter isn’t well-written and there’s a typo. Amazing that there isn’t a corporate comms person to edit the note.
During Taylor Fritz’s twitch stream he mentioned that he was proud of Morgan’s work at Wimbledon and criticized the tennis gatekeepers who were critiquing her. It was endearing to hear him support his partner’s success ❤️🥰😍
This Fedal moment was such a bright spot during a dark and scary time in the world. ☀️
It’s a cute video, but I appreciate that they went out of their way to put smiles on people’s faces as Covid was devastating the globe. 🦠

Racism + haters. I couldn’t believe how much Sharapova’s book was centered on Serena. Her dad was inspired by them.
I’ve heard Garbine, Danielle Collins, and Coco be very complimentary and share how inspired they were by the Williams sisters
Looking forward to videos from Roger Federer’s Uniqlo event where he:
- gave advice to young players on improving their tennis strokes
- shared insights on what distinguishes top 200 / 100 / 50 players
- discussed his perspective on being coached and optimizing practice time
@BenRothenberg
It’s awful. Also can’t find the main broadcast. Have to keep watching different courts. There’s no editorial vision or coherency. Terrible fan experience. Didn’t think it could get worse than seeing Roland Garros on Peacock last year.
I met her this fortnight and she mentioned how much work and research she does on players before matches. I told her the fans can tell she does her homework and we appreciate it! 🔥
I once read that Rafa supporters are aunties. Middle aged women are his key demo. This video aligns with that 😆
I was initially offended, but now all I have to say is welcome back favorite nephew 🥰
Tennis superstar Rafael Nadal had temperatures soaring even higher in the city, taking time out from his Brisbane International preparations to meet fans.
Organisers scrambling to keep crowds behind safety barriers as "Rafa Mania" went into overdrive.

Here was Rafa mentioning Tiger at Wimbledon 2022.
He was asked about great athletes retiring and thoughts about being asked.
He talked about himself and said he understood the question because as a Tiger fan, he’s had to adapt to seeing his fave less
I mostly ignore this petulant clown now, but the fact that his cookie-cutter looking podcast is named Good Trouble—a phrase indelibly linked to Rep. John Lewis, a civil rights lion who dedicated his life to uplifting others not shallow self-absorption—makes me sick to my stomach.
Remember the deep ancestral sigh he let out, hoping to come back from his devastating injury, last year.
This is a celebration, not a funeral. He did what he set out to do! Let’s celebrate 🎉
Is there anything Rafael Nadal refuses to autograph for fans?
The answer is still no. 😃
A fan in Brisbane asked Rafa to sign her arm.
Of course he agreed with a huge smile on his face. ✨
I really admire ND and how seriously he took the global pandemic.
During the time of worldwide suffering, he was a model citizen, and his selflessness and humility were testaments to his sterling character.
Truly the goat.
