10 years ago today, RF was up 5-3, 40-15 in the 5th set of the US Open SF vs Djokovic. Then, The Shot happened. I took a deep dive into the moment itself, what it meant for Djokovic, men's tennis, and well, me.

is the nba’s commissioner saying “we got our money, we good.” about watching games?
Adam Silver was asked about the rising cost to watch a season of NBA games as a fan of a particular team, considering all the games on either cable or streaming services. He said that there a bunch of games that will go on free, broadcast TV, and that fans can also consume the

EXCLUSIVE: Kawhi Leonard's $1.75M "no-show" payday was running late. Then, per new documents obtained by @PabloTorre, the Clippers' co-owner invested $1.99M in the team's broke sponsor. Nine days later, Kawhi got paid. "It is beyond shocking," an Aspiration executive says.

Kept waiting patiently for someone to mention my favorite episode: A Star is Burns, aka the one with the Springfield film fest (and crossover with The Critic). Homer auditioning for Burns and saying "Exactly" is one of my favorite jokes of all time.
Last 30 mins of yesterday's ZL show was such a fun detour away from hoops into PEAK SIMPSONS memories -- w/ @AlanSiegelLA: Spotify: https://t.co/5otxI9ClMM YT: https://t.co/IFPBxKhnNj Apple:

Pretty tragic for the Valkyries that the ridiculous Laver Cup is the reason their first ever playoff game won't be at their home arena. The Laver Cup! One of the most unnecessary events in all of sports.

This Clippers corruption stuff is so much like the Man City cheaters, except the latter cheated a whole lot more, and won a whole lot more. Fortunately for the NBA, the Clippers, despite Ballmer's efforts, remain the Clippers.

This team....what a cursed season, but so fun to watch them fight through it. All 5857395 of them!

Anisimova pirouetting into a short backhand down the line put away is some of the prettiest tennis things out there. It's also such an insanely difficult shot and she makes it seem like it's a layup.

That was fun. Anisimova loosened up at the right moments. Osaka ran everything down, or at least tried. Some of those winners wouldn't have come back even if you had 2 players on that side of the court.

Shot quality advantage barrage right now. A settled down Anisimova is just such an imposing, dominant player.

Tennis simply refuses to address problems in a timely manner. Australian Open needed 7 million years to finally put both men's semis on Friday. USO still not willing to give up the 715 SF session on Thursday night.
So sad that this really interesting match is going the distance and yet that caused so many people to leave. Even when it's raining outside!

Shot quality advantage took Anisimova to a 4-0 lead in the breaker. Now 5-1. Just flawless, clean, brutal hitting of the ball.

Big risk from Anisimova to start the TB. Ran around the FH to blast a backhand return hard up the middle, Osaka barely misses long.
