Why do we uphold Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment? It reduces mortality, improves independence , reduces hospital admissions and can even reverse the progression of frailty. CGA is the way! https://t.co/ezEVDdimVc #BGSconf

I am fed up of the relentless focus on internal delays, earlier discharge, AM discharge. We already have SDEC, hot clinic, hospital at home. Minimal gains to be made. Why not sorting root of issue? Social care. Therapy. Stepdown beds. Care home beds. Proactive community care?
