Whilst I welcome this news, I can't help but be cynical in thinking that the damage to people's lives, employee relations & BA's reputation has already been done by Messrs Walsh & Cruz. I wonder if the #FireAndRehire debate in parliament this Wed had anything to do with timing?

When @British_Airways announced their #fireandrehire plans in the Spring we knew we had to fight hard against all the odds if the entire workforce was not to be brutally beaten & a green light be given to bad bosses across the UK. Parliament should make #fireandrehire illegal.

Today I have written to the new CEO of IAG about 'fire and rehire', I am delighted Alex Cruz announced it was ending at @British_Airways but all of IAG's subsidiaries need to be clear it is over too.
