Really exciting to see @RenPhil21 and @ARIA_research launching even more forms of innovation orgs and engines. Solving the many crises we face and unlocking the many possibilities ahead most likely requires experiments with the shape of orgs to get us there.

There’s an increasing interest in exploring more democratic AI governance, but little work on evaluation or milestones to help push the field forward. The Democracy Levels provide a guiding framework and tools to help decision-makers build and assess governance structures.

Big news - our project is being funded by @ARIA_research as part of their safeguarded AI work. It's vital to explore whose values we aligned powerful AI to and how we translate these into measurable specifications AI can understand. Check out link in thread for more info.
