After the vote today I wouldn’t be surprised to see 80-100 Austin cops retire by end of next week costing the city 10 million plus. While I’m happy as President of Retired Officers Association for new members I fear for the people of Austin. Rock bottom is coming quickly.

Amazing not one city leader has said anything about this nor the activists who consistently bitch about APD. Key here is officer paid for the device himself. Many officers carry their own medical kit. Several of the officers on 6th street in June of 2021 used their own equipment
