And conference heard from three guest speakers. @nowak_paul on defeating the government's anti-worker agenda. @IAFFPresident Ed Kelly, who brought solidarity from firefighters in the US and Canada. And @AngelaRayner, who promised that Labour would deliver on workers' rights.

The afternoon session saw discussion of the Executive Council's statement 'preparing for a general election'. Topics covered included the anti-union laws; defeating the far right; and refugee rights. Delegates also discussed a number of emergency motions.

Day Two highlights of FBU Annual Conference. In the morning session, delegates discussed the FBU's work on pensions, where significant progress has been made. Delegates then discussed health, safety and operations - including the union's Decon campaign around fire contaminents.
