I highly value the work of Wollongong Geographers. Dismayed to read this story.
The very idea of so many incredible geography friends and colleagues at the University of Wollongong being in scope for possible redundancy next month is absolutely gut wrenching https://t.co/mSJXQeggk2 1/5

Great to see move to replace using horseshoe crabs in pharma-testing. Delighted if my work introducing a social science perspective to this topic & highlighting potential of 3Rs thinking/language has potentially helped move conversations fwd even slightly!
pcrm.org
Today, policy change goes into effect that allows companies to stop using horseshoe crab blood in the safety testing of new products.
A report by @SustainableRich that we helped to produce in 2020 highlighted the significant ethical and animal welfare need, and the scientific opportunity, for making this change. See our infographic https://t.co/DUqfFBmPXJ for a link
