Consider this: Go to a college camp with 6 teams playing and 6-7 college coaches on campus, in your dugout - opportunities to actually have a conversation with them OR 400 team tourney playing all over the place and you hope a college coach drops in ??? #playsmart

First of all -it is a 5 plus hour flight. This makes ncaa officials image look bad…working too many games —‘c’mon man!

As you go through your athletic journey you will start to understand that it’s not about what you accomplish or how many accolades you receive. It’s not just winning/awards. It’s all about the person you become, how many people you help & how you treat & respect those around you!

To become mentally tougher, you need to increase your tolerance for physical and mental discomfort. The main way to do this is by putting yourself in uncomfortable situations and pushing through them.

Scouts/Recruiters don't ask if players can play...they use their eyes for that. They ask...how's the makeup, how's the parents, how's the work ethic, how's the maturity, does he love competing, can he deal with failure, is he a winner, etc!

The objective of sports is to win, but the purpose of sports is to build character. All the athletic success in the world means nothing if it makes you worse as a person.

There are pitchers 82-84 committing D1 and pitchers 85-88 committing D3. There are 7.0 runners going D1 and 6.7 runners going D2. There isn't a metric that determines the level. You are either a college baseball player or you're not. Fit is everything.
