I’ve got some writing awards. And if I dig, I might find a cheerleading trophy and some honor roll ribbons. I’m pretty sure he doesn’t have any of those. Oh, and I won a coloring contest! That might be the kicker right there… 🏆
@ANNELAMOTT Someone suggested that we actually package up all our kids attendance awards, 3rd place piano performance, and T ball trophies and send to 1600 Pennsylvania. I’m on it.

ICE is now using a Palantir tool to map neighborhoods and assign “deportation scores” in “target-rich environments” fed by HHS data. Today it’s immigrants. Tomorrow it’s dissidents. If you think this won’t be repurposed for activists or protesters, you aren't paying attention.

“I started screaming with everything I had, because I couldn’t even breathe,” 10th grader Arnoldo Bazan told ProPublica, showing where the agent’s hands had closed around the 16-year-old’s throat. “I felt like I was going to pass out and die.” https://t.co/robAVzk3Hy

Civilians have had apparent seizures. One had his eyes roll back. Another had ribs broken. “I felt like I was going to pass out and die,” said a 16-year-old citizen put in a chokehold. The government...

Someone please explain to me how the U.S. can credibly host the World Cup when the country is demonstrating that simply “looking like” a non-citizen, or being present around ICE enforcement, regardless of race or citizenship, can get you detained, hurt, or killed

A Minnesota federal judge ruled ICE violated Garrison Gibson's 4th Amendment rights by battering down his door without a warrant. Agents stormed his family home. More than 300 judges have ruled against this admin's immigration policies.

There is no world in which it’s legal to unload a can of pepper spray in the face of someone who is recording from 15-20 feet away from the action. That’s just criminal assault, not a valid law enforcement use of munitions.
So much footage is coming out of Minnesota of ICE agents assaulting and kidnapping citizens for exercising their first amendment rights. You are allowed to record. They punch this guy in the face for blowing a whistle. Wake up. This is about our rights people.

Fact checking MAGA again: ICE teargassed the 6-month old in a residential neighborhood. Not at the Whipple Federal Building protest. The family did NOT bring their child to a protest - they were trying to go home. The child is ONLY alive because CPR administered on the scene
I've verified from prior reporting and 911 call log data the location where ICE tear gassed a 6-month old child: The 600 block of 23rd Avenue North in Minneapolis. An entirely residential area. It did NOT take place at the Whipple Building protest like MAGA has suggested.

WATCH: “I’m a citizen. I’m a citizen.” ICE didn’t even look at his ID. His boss came out holding up his passport to the agent’s windshield and they ignored it. Then they threatened to take him in anyway unless he let them scan his face and told him he was being deported. This

"Don't bring a baby to a protest because we might kill it" is not the gotcha ICE thinks it is. (And the baby ICE almost killed was not brought to a protest, it was being driven home from a sibling's game by its parents).
"Don't bring your six-month old to a protest" has been the idiotic, inhumane response to this incident from all the usual suspects Turns out these thugs tear gassed a family, including their infant, who were trying to get home The infant stopped breathing and was hospitalized

Absolutely not. The U.S. Constitution does NOT require American citizens to carry or present “proof of citizenship” on demand.Full stop. The Fourth Amendment forbids unreasonable searches and seizures. Government agents cannot stop you, detain you, or demand your papers without
