I very much enjoyed attending the International Symposium on Synthesis and Catalysis 2023, held in Γ‰vora, Portugal last week. There was so much inspiring chemistry on display. I was also pleasantly surprised to be awarded the prize for best oral communication! #ISySyCat πŸ‡΅πŸ‡Ή

Our latest work, out now in @angew_chem, describes the stereospecific synthesis of enones from boronic esters using methoxyallene. The work is subsequently applied to the total synthesis of 10-deoxmethynolide. Congrats to the team! https://t.co/AtU8v0JLEz

I really enjoyed attending the RSC International symposium for synthesis in org chem where leaders in the field delivered inspiring talks, spanning the whole breadth of organic synthesis! I also had the opportunity to deliver flash/poster presentations on my PhD work. #OS27

Last week I had the pleasure of presenting a poster and flash presentation at the @GSK Organic Chemistry Postgraduate Symposium, where there was some excellent chemistry on show! It was also nice to see a few familiar faces from my placement year at the site back in 2019-2020.

Had a great time presenting a poster and flash presentation at the @RSC_HSG postgraduate symposium at @SygnatureDiscov in Nottingham. It was an excellent opportunity to hear about some amazing chemistry. I was also extremely happy to have been awarded the prize for best poster.
