Wonderful to have been involved in this collaboration! This work demonstrated that human milk from SARS-CoV-2 infected mothers could neutralise infectious virus. And that this neutralisation required SARS-CoV-2 specific IgA antibodies (but not IgG). Congrats to the whole team!

The #agarart was strong with this year's MICB3002 cohort. 23 students designed, had synthesized and each cloned a new fluorophore/chromophore-protein gene to make coloured E. coli and used nanopore sequencing to confirm their clones. They also made some pretty pics! @CurtinUni
