This led to new insights on the role of HC cells in pronoun comprehension but also on the link between memory processes and language.

Concept cells can respond to pictures and written names. But did you know they also respond to pronouns when that pronoun refers to their preferred concept? We were able to follow conceptual representations during reading on a single cell level.
