Delighted to announce our latest work in @NatureHumBehav. While watching movies, theta phase precession is triggered by cognitive boundaries. Strength of precession predicts strength of memory formed. @Zjmay1 @gkreiman @CedarsSinai @CaltechN

Super excited about our new result. Thanks to both @WadiaVarun and @doristsao for making this incredible collaboration possible. i'm really happy to see the multi-species convergence of methods and results on the code used by human VTC/macaque IT. Incredible to see a true.
1/10 Very excited to announce that my thesis project is now a preprint! We present the first detailed study of mental imagery in human ventral temporal cortex, bringing together the interests of @doristsao and @UeliRutishauser.

Congratulations to @jonathan_daume @kaminski_janek et al. on a beautiful new study ! We show that during working memory maintenance, Hebbian-type plasticity and its behavioral consequences can be seen in-vivo in humans and offer a potential reason for why WM maintenance activity.
We are delighted to share that our new paper published today in @NeuroCellPress! We show that the persistent activity of single neurons during working memory (WM) maintenance predicts long-term memory (LTM) formation in the human hippocampus. 👇

Neurons can show phase precession in absence of firing rate modulation, i.e. a pure phase effect. While many neurons have both firing rate modulation and phase precession, the later was not rare. Something model of @Neuro_Physics predicts.
