That’s not a recruiting problem. You’re making my point. That’s a coaching/accountability problem, which is the bigger foundational issue here.
@DocStaples Or maybe players that actually respect and play hard for the HC. What’s your remedy for that? These guys have no interest in winning this game. Zero intensity.

I think it’s safe to say when you’ve lost 10/11 ACC games, there isn’t just one problem. Having better talent does increase margin for error. Nothing guarantees anything, but certain things (like elite recruiting) increases odds.
All this talk of how HS recruiting is the problem for #FSU. Is that guaranteeing success for Clemson & UGA (who also should’ve lost to Tennessee & have 2 losses already, including to the Bama team FSU beat)? What’s the answer for the elite programs? Elite QB play. Gotta find &

After 3 weeks, FSU, Penn State, Syracuse, Miss St and Auburn were 15-0 with wins vs Bama, Clemson, Baylor and Arizona State. They’re now a combined 1-18 in conference play.

Yeah, I hate to see & say it, too, but you're right. I hate seeing coaches get fired (these are human beings w/families that get uprooted). I'm also generally opposed to paying huge buyouts, which has been a big factor for me so far. But #FSU really doesn't have a choice now.
@DocStaples hate to say it but I think it’s past time for @FSUFootball to respond to this Norvell adversity.

Team is soft but it’s clear they’re not bought in. Remember in 19’ (?) how the DB’s were pointing at one another before the deep ball had even dropped into the Miami WR’s hands? That’s where this program currently is.
Hadn’t happened till this week, but Norvell has lost his team. They’ve quit. Interactions on sideline & effort in certain spots are making that clear. Can’t come back from that at this point. Buyout is irrelevant once you get there. Hot board after having some time to think

Me too. I picked FSU big in this one mostly because of how bad Stanford is. This is just wild.
Tommy Castellanos isn’t good but I thought FSU would handle Stanford easily. This Seminole team would get beaten by 30 in a rematch with Alabama. Wild how much things can change.

Not in my view, no. That was what I said in the preseason, and my primary concern about him as the starter was that he’d get banged up & eliminate that part of his game
@DocStaples at this point if Tommy isn’t gonna pull and run like he did against bama is there a point to even playing him?
