Switched to Ortofon needles today after 20 years using Shure M447s. Had to break them in gently so made a quick video for a laugh. YA SCUTTERIN GOBSHEENS
@OfficialPandR
Used to try all kinds of mad shit to win mixing competitions. Ferocious beat from 1986 by U.K. crew 'Hardrock Soul Movement'

1986 Hip Hop pirate radio from Dublin.
O.G. Irish mixmaster Tony Krisp on LLCR shouting out the crews. Tony's birthday today as it happens. Bonus footage of dirty oul Dublin 🥳
3/4 of ScaryÉire being kicked out of the dole office for filming in the early 90's. Grumpy oul bollocks. Hit the pub with the late Denny Cordell of Island records then back to Sloosh's gaff for bodhrán scratch shenanigans 💚
@ageingbboys
They mention it in the Ed Lover interview. Some of em were in a singing group called Fantastic LDs, when they joined with Force MCs they kept a letter from each to become Force MDs. Itchin for a scratch was great 🔥
@CasualCelt
Had to experiment with about 20 types of glue to find the quickest one to ignite. Nearly got kicked out of the house with the fumes every day 🚒🤓
@lfsibbo
We put out 'Dole Q' as a 12 inch single, recorded an album for Island records, got dropped, then released it on CD years back. Also had a track on a Tommy Boy records compilation on vinyl. I still chat with Oisin from Marxman 😎
@AnthonyTeasdale
Those guys breaking at 2:30 are all mates of mine. We used to hang at the Central bank every Saturday for years, then over to the Abbey Mall 😎

@Mankybadger69
I have footage of three or four of those lads breaking on RTE show JoMaxi, me on the decks. I'll try to upload it soon.
@TonyClaytonLea
Sound Tony 😎 R.I.P. Dada Sloosh (at the front) Introduced us to loads of Irish Trad & surely the first man to fuse bodhrán beats with Hip Hop ❤️

I think it was a pirate radio connection that linked me with Tim in the 80's. We did loads of Irish Hip Hop demos out there. He had drum machines, sequencers etc. Most the other studios were Rock orientated 🎸
@ianmccourt
@DoubleZCreative
Yeah that was the best studio to record Hip Hop. Tim Hannigan aka Mr Spring (Sound Crowd/2FM) owns it. We were all in earlier Hip Hop groups long before we formed Scary Éire.
@GramoBaloney
Was gonna say this sounds familiar & then read description, yeah defo heard it in old cartoons. Fast section clocks in around 169bpm, slower section around 96bpm. Great stuff
