Congratulations Dave. So proud of your achievements over the past 25 yrs. I think Ron Worton knew a winner when he saw one.
Most importantly to all the students, PDFs and technicians who make coming to work everyday an exciting and stimulating experience. Without you I would have never done this well!!!.

You’ll be a star Matt!! Just think of all the tolerance mechanisms you’ve learnt and do the opposite. Still at least a couple of manuscripts to submit - promise I’ll get there very soon!!.
Excited to announce I will be beginning my postdoctoral fellowship with @brooks_lab at @UHN elucidating the role of interferons in anti-tumour immunity! A different focus than my PhD work, but VERY excited to have the opportunity to work with this great team! 💪

A major message from this long-term study is that although FVIII levels are low (5-10%) they were stable and the dogs didn’t bleed. Just maybe aiming for much higher FVIII levels isn’t such a good idea.
Important paper published in @BloodJournal on the treatment of hemophilic dogs with FVIII gene therapy. Stable FVIII for >10years, clinical efficacy and no liver disease on the liver histology. Paper behind pay-wall. #hemophilia
