If we’re being real, it’s not about opting out of a bowl game. If Miami was left out of the CFP, yall would absolutely support them opting out. Most would support Bama opting out too. It’s Notre dame being independent that makes people mad.

This is 100% the issue and frustration. I just can’t figure why yall don’t get why it’s frustrating to us and just say suck it up.
Notre Dame AD Pete Bevacqua says if the school debuted in the CFP rankings at 17th or 18th, or behind Miami, it would have seen a different path. The difficulty was being told the Irish were in until the final selections.
