Per the committee, Alabama losing yesterday was good, actually. They beat the SEC champ in September, who's only the SEC champ because Alabama was savvy enough to lose, thus giving them a win over the SEC champ. This is a committee of dented avocados.

Alabama remains the only conference championship loser to be completely unaffected by the loss. Why do we think that is?
@SolidVerbal Committee got it right. You can’t punish a team for winning the regular season while rewarding teams in same conference for sitting at home. Notre Dame has made the decision not to play in conference & that has every right to harm them just as much as it benefits. Sour grapes🤷

Last season, SMU, Penn State, and Texas dropped in the rankings after losing conference championship games. Alabama (with the worst loss) gets smashed like 45 minutes ago on a neutral field and is unaffected.
