I love this idea but using text to convey a task wouldn't be "Minecrafty" maybe if he told you to mine redstone it'd have a pickaxe next to it with the block having the breaking overlay. And maybe if he wanted you to farm some carrots it'd show a shovel with a carrot next to it.
