In the end, it's probably best to rely on what's mentioned in the mob vote videos and their descriptions to form a conclusion, and even concepts mentioned there can change.

Also honorable mention to the glare: There's no guarantee that it will actually be able to place light blocks if added. Stop speaking about it like it's guaranteed even though the mob itself is not.

I also wouldn't get attached to the wildfire being a Nether event that could happen anywhere. Which Nether biomes? I doubt that this thing would wreak havoc in the warped forest, the oasis of the Nether. Who's to say that Jeb wouldn't adjust this mob based on newer features?.

Also, the idea that Mob D's shields would work exactly like vanilla shields is ridiculous. They aren't even made of wood, so breaking them could very well work differently, such as dealing enough damage like in MCD. Also, the ability to further balance mobs is a thing you know.

Like sure, Jeb referred to Mob C as non-aggressive, but most people are going to see hiding into the ground and absolutely devouring them as hostile, the same way most players believe that piglins actually hate hoglins. Also I'm pretty sure that's hostile. like objectively!.

It's actually an oddity for a mob to be precisely how it was described in a vote, without any deviation. The copper golem, the phantom's face, the frog no longer eating fireflies, you get the idea. Nitpicks based on tiny, tangentally related in-game details are still speculation.

While it doesn't really matter at this point, my hottest take about the 2017 mob vote options is that. concepts change! "Nooo the wildfire means use an axe 4 times" "The hunger is 0% aggressive but eats anything above it". Man, I think it depends. Also tell that to pufferfish!
