Britainās imports of gas have surged as Ed Milibandās shutdown of the North Sea triggers a slump in production. Government figures published on Thursday show imports jumped by 20pc between January and March just as North Sea gas output plummeted 6.9pc.

Of course, these protesters will be traveling to China next week to protest all the coal power plants they're building. right?. As hundreds of jobs are being lost in Grangemouth these extremists are not just stupid but cruel.
Ten Greenpeace protesters have abseiled off the Forth Road Bridge to block an INEOS tanker from delivering its cargo of gas to Grangemouth. The bridge has been closed and police are on the scene.

It was great to visit J Gas in Bathgate recently with my colleague @MGallacherMSP to see first hand the work they are doing and how they are supporting homes that aren't able to rely on electricity for heating.
