Anyone who knows the UK and its longstanding reputation for openness and tolerance, will be upset at the scenes of disorder caused by a tiny minority in a small number of places. As UK PM @Keir_Starmer has made clear, those responsible will face the full force of the law.

The UK welcomes the ceasefire agreement between DRC - Rwanda, and thanks Angola for continued mediation efforts. This will provide needed relief to civilians. We call for all parties to honour commitments made and hope this marks a steps towards sustainable peaceful dialogue.
