🚨Today is the @councilofdc's first budget vote. The Mayor proposed $70M for the #PayEquityFund, but OSSE says $73M is needed just to maintain current salaries. PEF needs $80M to keep up with cost of living, raise salaries for new teachers, and for teachers earning new degrees.
