It cost between $400-$500 a week for a minimal speaking (nonverbal) autistic child who isnt potty trained to go to summer camp. I couldn't afford that so I made my own camp using @ChildMuseumATL ($159 annual membership), and @atlantaymca ($109 monthly membership) for my Paris.

There needs to be a serious investigation into CenterPoint energy. It’s over 90° this week and people are going on 4 days without electricity. Many stores and restaurants are still closed. This is a blatant failure and something has to be done about it.
CenterPoint Energy said they plan to have 400K customers restored by the end of the day Friday and another 350K by the end of the day Sunday. They said they'll be able to provide specific estimated restoration times at some point today.

In order to give myself a wee parental leave I had to work my ASS off in the first three months of the year. I read more than 20 books for various pieces in that time. Even if I could do that each quarter of the year, I still couldn't afford to live where I do on my own income.
