Cycle lanes are not "for cyclists". They are to provide people who currently drive a safe & attractive alternative. They reduce traffic, pollution and CO2 emissions and make towns better places for everyone. https://t.co/PAs4LbTx7b

It is unfortunate that, despite the many warnings of an incoming snowstorm and obvious bad conditions, many people still HAD to drive to work this morning - likely due to our lack of proper alternative transportation infrastructure. #ONStorm

Removing elements from the G road test is dangerous. Drivers must be able to prove they have learned how to skillfully & safely operate their vehicles — people's lives are on the line. #VisionZero

Riding a bike all year can be a wonderful experience. "Sound was muted, air was cool in my lungs, the snow sparkled. Truth be told, it was beautiful." #WinterCycling

The pandemic convinced me to keep riding all through last winter. It was a challenge that I’m not sure I would have otherwise taken up, but I’m proud I did. Bring on this winter, writes Ele Pawelski.

Cycle tracks with physical separation (curbs & bollards) have been installed on Davenport Rd from Bay St to Yonge St, which help reduce conflict with motor vehicles, lower the risk of dooring from parked cars, & provide a safer experience for people traveling in the area. (1/2)

Hey @311Toronto @TO_Transport @TrafficServices I can't imagine Bloor and Sherbourne is a safe WZ - no signage, no alternative routes for cyclists, heavy objects being lifted high overhead This site has been putting people in danger for months. Enough is enough #NotSafe4BikesTO
@kristynwongtam @NotSafe4BikesTO @311Toronto Back again, unloading rebar to the top of the building - I’m sure like other days they will be there all morning

Good morning, Toronto! People biking the Yonge Street cycle tracks recently may have noticed artistic curb extensions along the route. These additions not only beautify the street, but improve pedestrian safety at key intersections. 📸: Upper Canada Road Services Inc (2nd photo)
