you can just self-host things.
just x100’d the speed of @karskwt by switching from @supabase to @better_auth + pg on the @coolifyio instance. migration took a few hours but the results are sooo worth it! 🔥 . Only service we’re not hosting ourself is mail (using @resend), everything else is self-hosted :D

I want to expand on this; I have no horse in this race and think tool wars are silly, just use what you like!. but UX/readability are important ESPECIALLY for LLMs and non-techies 🙂. Which do you think is easier to explain to someone who only uses excel?. @prisma or @DrizzleORM?

I have many ideas and truly believe in this. this is already too long, should’ve been a blog. If only I had a single-click backend I could deploy on coolify in seconds and have AI gen the fullstack blog. (also im sorry to all the services im killing oops).(also @SST_dev pilled).

ofc anyone can build this but I think prisma has the infra and incentive to do so and win the race. and then they can build their own v0/lovable/bolt as a service, or have LLMs pick-up on the ease, start using it and basically give free ads to their services.
