Great to have the opportunity to present to the final year @ucl neuroscience cohort alongside @ConfocalJones and Wanqing Jiang about our careers to date! A great reminder of how no career is ever linear and hopefully encouraging for future young researchers 👩🏼‍🔬

A new paper from us led by @ConfocalJones and co in human gut tissue showing GLP-1 and PYY secretion decrease with BMI and age depending on the site in the GI tract. The result of many secretion experiments by us over many years

new paper from my group in @Gut_BMJ. https://t.co/5QLQ9ghjU1 which show highly enriched expression of a SARS-CoV-2 receptor in gut serotonin cells, potentially linking COVID-19 infection and increased GI symptoms, inflammation, high plasma serotonin and potential benefit of SSRIs
