Walking through the woods I came across this little cub.
@BBCSpringwatch
returning 5hrs later it had only moved on 15 feet.
@RSPCA_official
recommend return in the morning. It’s so hard to let nature take its course at times.
My daughter wants to join the Eco club at school. So she asked me to document her efforts to tidy up the environment. She is always supporting me with my endeavours. So, happy to support her.

Whilst walking the dog this afternoon I bumped into Year 5 forest School
@HollyTreesSch
they were litter picking the woods and gathered 20 bags of litter. It was an initiative lead by the pupils themselves! Great work children

I was wondering what had happened to the
#brentwoodpeacock
as I hadn’t seen or heard from it for a while. Well he seems to be doing just fine
@BecketKeys
today.
My daughter once again joined me in a litter pick. This time she used an adapted shopping trolly to collect litter. Many of the items including glass bottles are recyclable. This adds weight to the bags, so her new invention was invaluable.

The cub perked up after having a bit of cat food at 4:00pm. It gave him the strength to resume calling for his mother. At 7:00pm there is no sign of him. Happy to think he has been reunited.

check out the delivery invoice, I paid for the grit bin that the Lib Dem’s are taking credit for. 😂
Cut back the nettles by the bins at Warley Country Park this morning. After hearing a child was stung on the way to school. Dog walkers had also commented that they were unable to retrieve dog bags when they had accidentally missed the bin.

When I hear that song it reminds me of the plight of the people, how far we have all come and how far we need to further progress. These actions are erasing the past as if it never existed.
Great night at Essex Tv Awards celebrating the best of the County. Great entertainment from the young people and a few recognisable faces too.

I find it painfully insulting and yet typical the opposition are digging up stories (that they have been sitting on) to incriminate the PM, accuse them of acting unlawful and inciting hate. All in an attempt to detract from their own inept performances.
A real pleasure to be part of the official opening of The Welby Building

Think you will find the country decided to leave the EU - Now, where is my mother going to find the money for a new car so she can access a multitude of businesses and visit friends half a mile inside the M25? Did the country decide? Nope, that was you!

Litter picking with my daughter this morning in Honeypot Lane
@ZilchUK
also identified and reported two fly-tips whilst there and picked up some other issues to look into.
@Brentwood_BC
If the litter bin is full, please take your rubbish home. You managed to get your Prosecco and beer bottles to the park. It should be easier to take home now you’ve emptied them.

It was a privilege to have Director John Paul Wyndham as guest speaker at my Civic Dinner. Again a privilege to have a section of the Drum Corp at my Civic Service. These are true ambassadors for Brentwood and the UK.

Not only did I pick up some local issues today when in the road I grew up in. I also picked up an old family photo from my old family home that was found by new owner under the stairs. I’m sitting on my fathers lap (who rose in glory this day last year)

Bus shelter may not be top of your priorities, but if we want to encourage people to use buses we should protect them from the elements while they wait.

Waited too long for utilities to act on flooding at Warley Country Park. So rolled up my sleeves and spent an hour digging a trench. Happy to report, that 24 hrs later the water level has dropped by 10 inches. No more flooding!

Deeply saddened by the loss of John Wyndom, a truly inspirational and community-minded man who dedicated so much of his time and passion to the younger generation
