The Bombay High Court has declared that Mumbai’s bad roads are unacceptable, emphasizing that civic bodies and contractors must ensure safe roads. The court ordered ₹6 lakh compensation for deaths and ₹50,000–₹2.5 lakh for injuries caused by potholes or open manholes.

@taxslaveshanky @PMCPune I think the mohalla meetings with larger group of citizens can work in these situations along with the elected corporator. PMC does work when there is a pressure as they are used to being reactive.
