Its being handled with love and care from cast and crew who know how right they have to get this one not just due to its story but the legacy it’s borrowing from

Seeing some buzz regarding Deadpool 3
And since there’ll be an MCU character in the film there is only one that come to mind
Earth - 838 Wanda seems the most likely choice considering both Olsen and Mckellen wouldn’t pass up the opportunity to act together as Father & Daughter

Hayden Christiansen was in consideration for the role AFTER Twitter sparked up rumors
Sonic Movie 3/Paramount took notice of the rumors and saw him as a contender…don’t know if he was given a screen test though but he WAS considered only after the rumors started.

Only other spin-off in the works is one on Shadow but that’s still in early development
Jeff Fowler says the “sky’s the limit” on more potential ‘SONIC’ spin-offs
“It’s a wonderful question to ask, ‘who else could get a show?’ And we’d love to do it”

AFAIK: Keanu Reeves isn’t playing Shadow in Sonic 3 (The Movie)
However, he is one of the names that both teams (Sonic movie crew and Paramount) were looking at aside from Pattinson and Christiansen
If Keanu did actually accept the role it’s because the other two passed on it

has pretty good death scenes (gore been turned up a notch) but the killers are the weakest ones in terms of surprise and motivation not a fan and think that may turn fans off a bit

Apparently, a Deftones song will be featured in Sonic 3 (the movie) soundtrack don’t know which one yet but take it with a grain of salt because after Keanu reveal I’m much more skeptical.

As much as I would have preferred Pattinson (not a bias they were looking at him for the role) I think Keanu was ultimately the safer choice especially if they’ll be doing a spin-off after this third film.

Note: that’s not to say Reeves didn’t connect with Shadow’s character in this film he might have and perhaps the studio felt a safer decision was ultimately better (cost wise)

People get so offended when actors dismiss the MCU but it’s fine because it’s an opinion and he’s entitled to it just like everyone else is

Only other role would be that of a GUN agent or Rouge The Bat (studio was trying to figure out how to make her appropriate towards younger audiences) maybe they did?
