Psych, dating, relationships, sex differences ♀️♂️ I go hard for women's AND men's issues, don't get whiplash 👅

When you frame it as a benefit, you take away women’s autonomy and personal needs from the act, and assume other forms of sexual relationships (say sex within committed relationships) “benefit” women. A better framing would focus on why these men have this perception about her.
Trying to say this without dog whistling for slut shamers but sometimes I wonder if casual sex benefits women socially. Overheard some men describe a babe that is their friend as 'Open source API'. This was after she hugged and greeted them, and moved to her gym class.

Literally any interaction with men can come with heapfuls of shaming and name-calling regardless of your relationship with them. I don't devote any amount of time wondering or caring how I'm being perceived in/as a result of my sexual dalliances.

Trad people are so funny cuz they're like "The man should be in charge. The wife gets a say & her opinions should be listened to & he should make decisions that are best for her, but still, he's in charge!" You're describing an equal relationship with extra steps. Let it go 😂

For both husbands and wives, greater perceived shared power in a relationship was consistently associated with: - Higher levels of harmonious sexual passion over time - Lower levels of inhibited sexual passion over time https://t.co/SPVT7KIkrT

The number of men who genuinely believe women retain DNA from sex partners & run out of oxytocin if they sleep around is frightening.

@LilUziVartan It's weird because like...that's the point. If you use your charm, achievements, etc., you can overcome any amount of bad genetics! This should be a white pill!

@allie__voss You can tell them Danny DeVito fucks and they just say you can't use a celebrity as an example because they're rich and famous even though Barry pulled and cheated on a rich popstar much hotter and more famous than him

@allie__voss I've said this before and I'll say it again. I have a friend of mine. He's like 5 foot nothing. He has a wife. I don't know where this meme of women wanting 7 foot tall, 300 pound solid muscle came from. Lol.

"Women only want the tallest, hottest, men!" Women love this guy, he's not conventionally attractive in the slightest, and he is a whopping 5'8"

something people forget when complaining about the "men suck" cultural output of the 2010s is that it was a response to the blatant misogyny that was common immediately preceding it. hitchens published an article in 2007 about how women were biologically incapable of being funny

@CenterParody @DeChristianLife “Did you pay the mortgage and go to work this morning” No I didn’t feel connected,
