On 29th September 2022, the National Screening Committee recommended targeted lung cancer screening. This is incredible news as it has will save so many lives. Had screening been available sooner, it could have saved my dad. @Roy_Castle_Lung a charty solely fighting lung

This is on top of the 30 a day closing during 2020 - we've now lost over 12,000 premises for good and worryingly the trend increased at the start of the year as the impact of a further 5 month closure hit
The total number of licensed premises fell by 2,712 over January and February – equivalent to 46 closures per day
