Excellent news for safeguarding children! For years, we and many others like @actnforchildren @barnardosnews @childrensociety @NSPCC @ECPATUK have been calling for a statutory definition of child criminal exploitation. Thank you @SarahChampionMP for making this change now happen.

Wow! The Government have finally acted on our campaign to create a definition of child criminal exploitation. This means less children in courtrooms, and more in safeguarding & support.Thanks to @NSPCC, @ECPATUK, @salvationarmyuk and all the other charities made this happen.

Our West Mercia Support Through Exploitation and Prevention Service (STEPS) commissioned by @WestMerciaPCC supports children across West Mercia aged 8-18 and those with additional needs up to age 24 who are impacted by Child Criminal Exploitation or Child Sexual Exploitation.
