1/ Thank you to everyone who came along to my recent advice surgery in Woodside. Every month, alongside my regular surgeries, I host a ward surgery or coffee morning across Croydon West - it's always a privilege to listen to residents and help where we can.

A delightful afternoon (accompanied by a delicious cup of coffee) with members of the Turkish Youth and Community Association. Turkish is one of the top ten languages spoken here in Croydon, and it was a pleasure to learn more about their culture and history in our borough.

The gang behind almost half of all phones stolen in Britain was busted in a massive sting operation. I joined the takedown yesterday – a brilliant example of the Met Police coming together to tackle serious organised crime. We’re breaking the business model of phone theft.

1/ Casework win! ✅ After residents wrote to me about disrepair at Raleigh House, I visited the site, met with residents and the housing association’s leadership, and kept pushing for action.

The attack on Peacehaven mosque was appalling; there is no place for anti-Muslim hate in our society. My thoughts are with the whole community. Yesterday, I met with community & religious leaders to offer support, alongside Jewish and Christian representatives showing solidarity.
