It’s simple – #SCOTUS has destroyed its own legitimacy, losing public confidence in its integrity along the way. This is a Constitutional crisis and it’s far past time for Congress to act. Expand the Court.

SCOTUS tells us this term that Andy Warhol isn't much of an artist, & a parody dog toy isn't creative expression, but an aspiring wedding website designer, on the other hand, is a super important artiste whose creative expression warrants First Am protection at any & all costs.

This is a big deal. @LambdaLegal, @GLADLaw, @NCLRights, and @TransLawCenter all come out in favor of ending the filibuster, enacting court reforms (including expanding SCOTUS), and enacting measures protecting voting rights and our democracy.
NEW: Today, we issued a joint statement with partner organizations calling for immediate, essential #SCOTUS and democracy reforms to address the constitutional crisis we are in. The Senate MUST lift the filibuster to get it done.
