Today’s #SCOTUS rulings remind us that there are many challenges ahead to ensure the rights of all people, across race, class, and gender, are fully realized in this country.

No one should have to choose between survival and authenticity. Trans people deserve more than just acceptance. We deserve healthcare. We deserve safety. We deserve belonging. And it is our stories, our data, and our resistance that will get us there.

Grateful for the inspiring words and work of our Senior Advisor Cecilia Chung, who has never stopped speaking truth to power. During Pride month and in the face of dehumanization, she reminds us that choosing our name, our pronouns, and our path is not dangerous: it’s liberating.
