Let's say there are 17m registered voters in Texas. There are 500 sheets of paper in a ream. So say we need 34,000 reams of paper, at a cost $10 each (you can get them for less, but let's say). That would be $340,000, against a biennial budget of $248 BILLION.

I’m keeping an eye on this, as are others—as a gun owner and voter, it is wild that @TexasGOP is trying to relax restrictions on gun owners while increasing them on voters—either you’re serious about rights or you aren’t, @TexasGOP #SB7 #HB6 #txlege.

Hey @EricaGrieder - is anyone besides me watching permitless carry of handguns advance out of committee and feeling nauseous? No training or req'd background check to carry a loaded handgun in public. Ummmm. plus the signage junk. HB1911. Ughhhh. #txlege.
