Under the Treason Felony Act 1848, it is a crime punishable by life imprisonment to intimidate parliament or encourage any foreign power to invade the U.K. We should be applying this law to every traitor openly calling for the U.S to depose our democratically elected government.

I like the Bike Lane Bounty idea. A person who reports a car parked in a bike lane gets a percentage of the fine. The only question is what should the percentage be?

Celebration Buchenwald just after liberation (photo: Margaret Bourke-White). Powerful because it shows the pure joy of liberation, and because it turns these men who we have turned into mythic creatures into normal folks. The kind that celebrate with champaign and cigarettes.

Britain is an open economy. As the world’s second largest exporter of services it has a huge interest in as stable, rules-based international trading and security order as possible. It must speak up for its own and the global interest. Starmer must find the courage to say so.

Listening to Alex Forsyth (@AlexForsythBBC) on @BBCRadio4 now about the problems caused by road works. I wonder if she will say much about damage to the highway and congestion caused by excessive motor traffic, especially bigger vehicles like SUVs?

Word of caution. Just because Trump claims that the USA controls things in Venezuela, it does not mean that it does or is anywhere close to doing so. All Trump has done so far is remove one dictator but leave a dictatorial system in place. Don't mistake his bluster for truth.
