1/7 This is an introductory thread for this page which I recommend reading before you engage with me, there are three main goals of my page.
1. Honor Civil War soldiers
2. Promote Reconciliation
3. Dispel lies about the Civil War
The Arlington Reconciliation Monument will be removed likely in 5 days from now. I still hope for Congress to step in, but I don't see it happening to be honest. Do you guys remember when they said monuments in cemeteries would remain untouched? They were lying.
This is your elected offical. Childish, ghoulish, monstrous are all words to describe these types of people. They hate you, they hate your ancestors. They don't like Union soldiers either, they just use their names to try and hurt you, even though none of their ancestors fought.
I worry the South has all but embraced the stereotypes about their culture. The idea that Southern culture entails being a "hick" eating fried chicken, and wearing jeans is just ridiculous. The South was the intellectual powerhouse of the US for more than 100 years.

People who use the Appomattox surrender as a means to bash over the heads of their political enemies forget what Grant wanted. Grant wanted peace and reconciliation, but the people who are celebrating "Appomattox Day" are bastardizing what happened there, they only harbor hatred.
The Arlington Reconciliation Monument will be removed by the 18th of this month. The disgusting attack on the reconciliation between Federal and Confederate soldiers has unfortunately succeeded, and our Country will suffer for it.
Work crews appear to be ready to take down the Reconciliation monument at Arlington, they will likely begin tomorrow. Sadly the war on history continues to succeed.
"We'll put them in museums", it was always a lie. The destruction of historical artifacts has begun. Shame on anyone who supports this.
God Bless Robert E. Lee
Charlottesville’s Robert E. Lee statue has met its end, in a 2,250-degree furnace.
The divisive Confederate monument, the focus of the deadly “Unite the Right” rally in 2017, was secretly melted down and will become a new piece of public art.
More on the process:
A temporary stay has been put on the removal of the Arlington Reconciliation monument. What exactly this will lead to I don't know. But it is at least some good news.
"General Robert E. Lee was...one of the supremely gifted men produced by our Nation. He believed unswervingly in the Constitutional validity of his cause which until 1865 was still an arguable question in America; he was a poised and inspiring leader".
-Dwight D. Eisenhower
They didn't destroy Robert E. Lee's Statue just to disrespect Lee, they did it to disrespect and demoralize you, that is the goal here. They hate not only the men you admire, but they hate you too. Never get that confused.
It was made illegal by Germany to consider any member of the Third Reich a “hero.” Yet, we failed to do this in the United States. A decision that still haunts us 250+ years later. Members of the Confederacy were traitors to the US and were not heroes.
#Bigotry
#Racism
Robert E. Lee was the best general of either side of the Civil War, and perhaps the 2nd greatest man in American history, 2nd only to Washington himself.
Whenever someone calls Robert E. Lee or any other Confederate commander a "traitor", the best response is simply to ask them "when was Lee convicted of treason?" They typically wont have any valid response to that, and will just resort to name calling.
A final update on the Arlington Reconciliation Monument. The monument has been completely removed, and all that remains is an ugly concrete slab in its place. I do believe future generations will look at this moment in shame. The brave men buried there deserved better.
Robert E. Lee is second only to Washington as a great American hero, he fought for independence against an illegal invasion of his home State, and now the disgusting "Black History Museum" has melted down his statue. This is a moment Virginia will look back on with shame.
People who say that the Confederates were "losers" fail to realize that nobody won in the Civil War. We all lost. It was a tragedy that people have turned into a sports game, cheering on whatever their favorite team is, using American lives as the tally.
Top ten most overrated Americans:
1. Abraham Lincoln
2. John Brown
3. Harriet Tubman
4. FDR
5. MLK
6. Frederick Douglass
7. Malcom X
8. LBJ
9. Susan B. Anthony
10. Rosa Parks
Piggy, as we all know, has absolutely no idea what he is talking about. Not only does he incorrectly think Confederates were traitors (none were ever convicted), he doesn't know that soldiers in almost every war since the Civil War have flown the Confederate flag.
I, for one, never promised anything of the sort. A monument dedicated to traitors overseeing America's most hallowed ground has only ever desecrated the memory of U.S. service members.
Robert E. Lee was indeed one of the very best generals in history. The Seven Days, Second Manassas, Chancellorsville, the Wilderness, Spotsylvania, and Cold Harbor are all proof of this. I'm tired of the people in my mentions claiming otherwise.
The destruction of the Lee statue yesterday was a sad moment for all of us, the question now is where do we go from here? I argue there should be a renewed push for the preservation of monuments, and graves. The problem is we don't have the support of larger Conservative groups.
Often times I see people argue that Robert E. Lee was a mediocre general, or that he is overrated as a commander, though I've talked alot about these arguments in the past, I think I'll make a more detailed thread going over these claims and refuting them.
"What was the moment that radicalized you?"
Well here it is. When the ghouls took down the Lee monument in Richmond. I saw it for what it was, an attack on American history and culture. Shortly after I started on Twitter. One day I hope to see the Lee put back where he belongs.
Robert E. Lee was long revered by American politicians, generals, and just the general public. They understood that Lee, while opposed to secession, could not bear arms against his home. Why is it so hard for people today to grasp this concept?
To the hoards of idiots who attack me for giving due praise to Robert E. Lee as a great general, let me remind you that your opinions are at odds with the grand majority of historians, who have long acknowledged Lee as one of the best generals in American history.
Oh, and for anyone suggesting Sherman would support taking down Confederate monuments remember that Joseph E. Johnston was a pallbearer at his funeral, and the two men were very close friends.
Pictures appear to show that the process of removal has begun today, the top of the Arlington Reconciliation Monument has been removed. Its over, the ghouls won. I just want to ask what sort of people support the removal of a monument from a cemetery?
For anyone who thinks Confederate monuments are the only group of monuments being attacked, here is a thread of examples of Union monuments also under attack. This isn't a North vs. South issue. This is an American issue. We should stand together to stop this evil desecration.
Whenever I see a Civil War monument destroyed or a street renamed I take it personally. Not only is it an insult to the dead, men who can no longer defend themselves, it is an insult to me. They are tearing down monuments great men whom I greatly admire, so they are insulting me.
A list of Southerners:
George Washington
Thomas Jefferson
Patrick Henry
James Madison
James Monroe
Andrew Jackson
John C. Calhoun
Winfield Scott
Jefferson Davis
George Henry Thomas
Robert E. Lee
Stonewall Jackson
John J. Pershing
George S. Patton
Douglas MacArthur
Audie Murphy
Robert E. Lee and "Stonewall" Jackson were both better men than any of the modern fools who lie about them today. Those people are weak frauds who need to tear down the reputation of those who are greater than themselves.
I notice the reason why certain people have such a distain for Confederate soldiers and their monuments comes down to their politics. It has absolutely nothing to do with morality, it is about erasing long recognized American heroes as part of a modern political agenda.
Notice how these twitter trolls don't actually celebrate genuine acts of Union valor? You rarely ever hear them talk about the Irish Brigade at the Sunken Road, the Iron Brigade in the Cornfield, Robert Gould Shaw's attack on Fort Wagner, or Carr's stand at Elkhorn Tavern.
I do consider Robert E. Lee to be one of the greatest Americans to have ever lived. A Christian gentleman with excellent moral standards, and a brave soldier. I also consider him to be the greatest general in American history.
I've noticed several people, including myself, get called "lost causers" for saying Lee, Jackson, and Forrest to be great generals. I find that extremely odd considering many Northern soldiers said so aswell. Saying that Lee was a good general doesn't make you a "lost causer."
If this passes one of the most important historical organizations will likely become bankrupt. They also plan to attack certain Civil War museums in Virginia. This must be stopped.
Born January 21st, 1824 was Lt. General Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson. One of the greatest generals of the Civil War, he was one of Lee's most trusted subordinates. He was mortally wounded during the Battle of Chancellorsville in 1863. He was a pious Christian, and a great American.
Confederate soldiers were heroic men fighting in defense of home and country. We should stop slandering them and lying about what they fought for, and instead honor their memory and their heroism.
Anyone advocating for the removal of Confederate monuments, memorials, or namesakes are openly disgracing some of America's bravest war heroes. The people advocating this are historically illiterate, and want to destroy history for future generations.
“None of us had ever fought for slavery and, in fact, were opposed to it...Our struggle was simply a constitutional one, based on the constitutional states rights and especially on free trade and no tariff.”
-VMI Cadet Moses Jacob Ezekiel
My list of the top 10 greatest Americans to have ever lived:
1. George Washington
2. Robert E. Lee
3. Andrew Jackson
4. Patrick Henry
6. John C. Calhoun
7. Jefferson Davis
8. Curtis LeMay
9. George S. Patton
10. U.S. Grant
Robert E. Lee was a better general than U.S. Grant, I don't think that is disputable, and I say that as someone who likes Grant. Anyone claiming that Grant was better than Lee needs to actually sit down and research the Overland Campaign. Lee bested Grant at every turn.
I like to think of myself as one of the old school Civil War enthusiasts, like the ones of the 60's who honored both sides of the war as good men, fighting for heroic causes. Unfortunately, those types of people are hard to come by now.
Born July 13th, 1821 was perhaps the greatest cavalry commander in American History, Nathan Bedford Forrest. Born a poor man on the frontier of Tennessee, an barely literate, he made a fortune through various business ventures.
I'd argue that Robert E. Lee and "Stonewall" Jackson were the greatest combination of generals in American history. The two of them, with their aggressive strategy were what made the Confederate Army so successful in the early part of the Civil War.
October 12th, 1870 while surrounded and comforted by his family, General Robert E. Lee passes away from complications due to a stroke. His last words were: "Tell Hill he must come up, strike the tent." Thus ended the life of one of America's greatest generals.
I still argue that Robert E. Lee was indeed the greatest general in American history, not only for his skill as a tactician and strategist, but also for being a great moral leader for his people. There is a reason people at the time, North and South him admired him so much.
The Declaration of Independence was a secession document, the Confederates fought for similar causes as the Founders, and many of the Founders likely would have fought for the Confederacy.
1. The slaves offered the teeth to Washington
2. The Sally Hemings story is a myth
3. That quote is attributed to Phil Sheridan in response to Little Bighorn, it has nothing to do with Roosevelt
4. While I hate to defend Lincoln, the Dakota Indians he had hung were all murderers
If using simple Civil War memes is all I have to do to get the outrage trolls up in arms, perhaps I should do that more often. I still hate the meme format though.
Robert E. Lee is a man I think we should all aspire to be like. Humble, faithful, kind, patriotic, courageous, merciful, and most importantly he was completely devoted to God.

Today is Lee-Jackson Day, a day to honor two of the greatest military minds in American history, Robert E. Lee and "Stonewall" Jackson. Honor your ancestors and have a wonderful day everyone.
Hood lost the use of one of his arms at Gettysburg, and one of his legs at Chickamauga. He gave dearly fighting for his adopted State of Texas, now the Government has betrayed his service. I beg any of you to seriously reconsider if you have planned on joining the Military.
This morning, Fort Hood will be redesignated Fort Cavazos. Get to know its namesake – Gen. Richard Edward Cavazos.
We're proud to honor the courage and legacy of distinguished Soldiers like this Texas-born hero of the Korean and Vietnam wars.
👆 📺 Tap to watch.
It is Confederate History Month, meaning it is a time to remember the heroism and sacrifices of those men who fought and died for freedom and independence against invasion.
The common argument I see against the Arlington Reconciliation Monument is that the monument isn't actually there in the spirit of reconciliation. This is at odds with the facts.
This is a lie, most of the Confederate soldiers were volunteers, and Robert E. Lee was well loved by his soldiers, this incident here shown in the movie Gettysburg is basically what happened at the Battle of the Wilderness and Spotsylvania, this person is a liar.
I imagine alot of young men, wearing both blue and gray, scattered over fields like Spotsylvania, Gettysburg, Williamsburg, Pearidge, and Petersburg. But unlike you, I don't celebrate their deaths, I mourn them.
Sherman posters are upset about something that represented their ancestors being desecrated. They reap what they sow. I don't agree with vandalism, but what can you expect when you have been destroying hundreds of Southern markers and monuments just like this?
@WokeNHLawyer
They actually do have say on these things, I know plenty of blacks who support the Monument staying. The monument has nothing to do with white supremacy I may add.
Hood was an honorable man, one of the most heroic soldiers of the Civil War, anyone calling for his name to be removed is despicable, and anyone who is involved in the removing of his name should be ashamed of themselves.
JUST IN: Fort Hood will officially drop its Confederate name and become Fort Cavazos on May 9.
General Richard Cavazos, the new namesake, is the first Latino four-star general and brigadier general.
The move comes as part of the Department of Defense's effort to remove all
@KeneAkers
Horrible movie, and does he not realize that the Native Americans also lost? As did the French in several wars, and the US in almost every war since the 1950's.
