Yankees and Federals love Washington because he brought the South into the war. But he was a terrible general.

about Washington.
He was a living legend.
In a letter to his brother on July 18th, 1755, 22 year old George Washington writes,
“I heard the bullets whistle, and, believe me; there is something charming in the sound.”
He would have 2 horses shot from beneath him, and his coat shot through 4X in a single battle alone.
