People who say that the Confederates were "losers" fail to realize that nobody won in the Civil War. We all lost. It was a tragedy that people have turned into a sports game, cheering on whatever their favorite team is, using American lives as the tally.

A lot of idiots here are really just proving my point it seems, they don't value human life, they see war as a game, not as a tragedy.

@BlueandGray1864 I would say the slaves definitely won that. You know, on accounts of not having to be slaves anymore

@sobakaprod Did the thousands of slaves who died in contraband camps win anything?

@BlueandGray1864 The Confederates lost. Badly. Like, they were destroyed completely. Get over it.

@BlueandGray1864 Being the CSA went from a free sovereign nation to being enslaved… I am pretty sure we did not win the war of Northern aggression. [><]

@BlueandGray1864 Exactly. Gettysburg, for example, was a human tragedy on an horrific scale. Not just the battle. What that Pennsylvania town suffered through post-battle is near apocalyptic. The lives destroyed from all that killing and maiming is hard to comprehend even today.

@BlueandGray1864 Well, what did the north really win? You see it in the streets every day, crime! Illegals pouring across the border every day! Lincoln and his little Punk Sherman were war criminals!

@BlueandGray1864 Imagine going Detroit or New York or Chicago in the 1970s and telling them they had won the civil war.

@BlueandGray1864 Yockey was right about how a war against a power who is not a real enemy is political folly and only serves to strengthen the relative power of third-party forces

@BlueandGray1864 No, we definitely lost. On the bright side, we learned some important lessons for the next time we establish an independent Dixie: Have a strong domestic manufacturing base and a strong central government to coordinate a more coherent war effort.
