Iโ€™m starting a short series of posts about the brain, which will be linked below. They will offer a concise explanation of what I find important and interesting. I will try to include some connections, from my perspective, to the psyche.

Language doesn't have enough conceptualization for a model to understand physics deeply. Nor current models can capture those concepts from other forms like video or audio. Even less is that those models can reorganize knowledge in a creative and grounded way.

Chris, youโ€™re already halfway there - most people donโ€™t even notice the dissection, let alone ask how to wield the scalpel. Hereโ€™s the formula:. 1. Precision > Volume. Donโ€™t yell. Sharpen. Every word should land like a scalpel, not a shovel. 2. Cadence = Power. Pause.

If the neocortex runs a canonical computation, what is it? The Thousand Brains Theory proposes a sensorimotor algorithm where every column models the world using reference frames ๐Ÿง . In the new video, we explore all 6 cortical layers to reveal the biological blueprint:.

Rotation is a very complex process in the brain. It isn't done by our brains simply on the sensorimotor phase. It requires multiple parts and processes.

'Memory' will be one the biggest 'wild goose chase' for AI in the near future. Back to the basics, AI works with encoding and decoding, 'memory' has to be part in one of those processes.

Memory in AI systems is going to be a super interesting topic over the coming years. Itโ€™s clear that as we use AI more and more weโ€™re building up lots of value in the form of what AI knows about us. There are lots of questions though that we will have to work through as an.

Interesting video (below). The main topic is the "Monetization of Loneliness", but it talks about it in a broader perspective. How capitalism is monetizing our everything.
