Japanese research is no longer world class here’s why. A lot of young Japanese researchers went outside of Japan for better research environment.

I became a researcher because I wanted to solve unmet needs. I truly believe that with this funding, we can make a difference in brain tumors therapies.
We’ve awarded £1.5 million grant to find new ways to treat #glioblastoma at @imperialcollege. Led by Dr Jun Ishihara @BioengIshihara, researchers will harness the power of the immune system to help fight recurrent glioblastoma cells.

I am so proud of Jeff. I have been working with him for 9 years. He is a great researcher, mentor and respectful person. Joining his lab was my best decision in my life.
@UChicagoPME professor Jeffrey Hubbell has been elected into the @theNASciences for his work in bioengineering and immunotherapy. 👏.Hubbell is the only current @UChicago faculty member to be elected to all three academies - Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine.
