I recently saw a disheveled homeless man when walking into the store. I didn’t have cash on me, only my credit card. I bought him a box of breakfast biscuits. The smile on his face was priceless and he thanked me several times, then proceeded to chow down. ? hadn’t eaten 4 days!

My fully vaccinated sister (69 years old) tested negative for 4 days before being positive on the 5th day just after Thanksgiving. Doctor said it was too late for paxlovid. She ended up with Covid pneumonia. She’s still not 100%!

I must’ve been lucky. I went to a Catholic jr high 6-8th grade. I learned science, read books, attended music classes, was well prepared for high school, and as far as religion goes, we studied the 7 major world religions. Not all private schools are the same.

My cousin died 27 years ago leaving 2 small boys. Their father remarried. She loves those boys as much as her own. They are still very close with our family after all these years. Most in this situation would have drifted away from their spouses former in-laws.
