Very cool
I’m thrilled to announce: at @jura_bio we’ve constructed a new kind of generative protein model, which allows us to manufacture its generated designs in the real world at petascale. Paper: https://t.co/qgxfNPP30K Blog:

Cool!
How do enhancers work over distances that sometimes exceed megabases? Excited to share our work led by @gracecbower where we uncover a unique sequence signature globally associated with long-range enhancer-promoter interactions in developing limb buds: https://t.co/n0p7BdxSdq 1/

📢 Our latest paper is out in @CellCellPress! Led by the multi-talented @XinheZheng, we accelerated AAV-based gene delivery to 2 days & enabled in vivo CRISPR screens with single cell-level readout, a leap from existing capabilities 🤯 How does it work? (1/8)

The biggest myth about creativity is that it cannot be learned - either you have it or you don’t.. But psychologists have shown that creativity is linked with 'openness to experience' which increases with cultural activities, new hobbies, mental challenges and becoming awestruck.

Amazing! Maude has always done such fantastic research, so great to see the scope take a huge leap
Maude Baldwin becomes the 8th director of our institute! Her previous group will broaden its research as department and investigate the evolution of diverse sensory and physiological systems, such as taste and digestion in vertebrates. Congratulations Maude, we are thrilled!

@SLiberles Now Mike has discovered that NEBs are sensors for a more mysterious and probably more clinically important sensory modality. Very exciting to see where this leads.

@SLiberles Several(...) years ago, we observed that NEBs express Piezo2 and are innervated by stretch-responsive neurons and we naively hypothesized that NEBs might be the site of stretch detection, even though pieces of the story didn't add up.
