Repeatedly not getting enough sleep each night reduces bar speeds during a strength training workout. We often use bar speeds as a proxy for effort, which is a good marker of motor unit recruitment (MUR). Lack of sleep may reduce motivation and therefore MUR.

There are only SO many INTERVAL types ! The HIIT formats vary by work/rest duration, speed and intensity πŸ‘† All these formats are still HIIT - repeated bouts of high-intensity work performed above the lactate threshold or critical speed/power 😎
